CANCER WARRIOR/WIDOW/MOTHER WITH DEPENDENT CHILD KNOCKS ON OUR HEARTS

Dear Friends:

Our friend and batch mate (Macario B. Asistio Sr. High School - 1985) ,MA. GLORIA ISIDORO MADRIDEO (VIUDA DE) MONTADO was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer (Non-small Cell Lung Cancer, Adenocarcinoma) last June 2018. She had undergone chemotherapy until December 31, 2018. However, based on the result of the medical examination after the last chemotherapy, she still has to take oral medications. The cost of the medicine is Philippine Pesos 4,465.00 (about US Dollar 86) per tablet. She needs one hundred eighty (180) tablets for a total cost of PhP 804,000 or about 15,500 USD. Unfortunately, said medicines cannot be reimbursed by her company or insurance.

She’s already financially in distress and has fully exhausted all the possible loans that she can get to make both ends meet, being a widow with a 15-year old daughter, Sam. Her husband Jaime died of stroke in October 2016.

Her oncologist is Dr. Gloria B. Cristal-Luna at the National Kidney and Transplant Institute.

She no longer has the means to finance medication and has already resorted to begging from her friends and relatives.

Please help her fight the good fight and live for her daughter.
