Wicked Slice Pizza in Coventry, CT has made its mark on the Community, not just because of their awesome pizza with unique flavor combinations (and award winning gluten-free pizza) or because of their 5-star review ratings or not even due to their speedy and friendly delivery service, its because of their community involvement. Whether its pizza donations for the Youth Football team or to the events held at the schools, Jim & Ann Donahue care about the people they serve. This is their passion, their life, their livelihood.

Wicked was recently featured on Fox61 Foodie Friday this past December as one of the best Pizza places in Connecticut!!! https://fox61.com/2017/12/01/foodie-friday-wicked-...

On July 27th, 2018 at 6 am, fire crews from six towns were called to the plaza where Wicked Slice calls home. https://fox61.com/2018/07/27/mutual-aid-called-to-...

Just 30 minutes later, when the General Manager and Executive Chef arrived to what they expected to be a tiny fire, was an unrecognizable pile of rubble. Ironically, the only salvageable items from the restaurant was the cash in the register and a pizza peel nestled between what was once a pizza oven and commercial freezer, now transformed into a melted mound of metal. The pizza peel today, sits outside their front door with a sign that they will be back.

Building owner and personal insurance will begin the rebuild process, however even with insurance, the Donahues are facing over a $25,000 shortage to complete the build-out. They are purchasing used equipment, however, the installation, seating, rest-rooms etc, all need money to complete.

All we are asking is for a $1.00 donation and a promise to share amongst ALL your social media contacts - we only need 26,000 people to take 1 minute and donate $1.00 for a #WICKEDCOMEBACK

Update posted by Leslee Cook at 01:32 pm

AllI apologize for the system glitch of not being able to accept $1.00 donations as this was my campaign strategy - I have several emails, blog comments, tweets and facebook messages into GoGetFunding company. One of the reasons I chose them was the very fact they accepted $1.00 donations. I
