Wichie’s Eye Surgery

Since I was 8, I've had to wear glasses. Every year, my prescription got worse - it is now -11.00. To give you a literal picture of what that looks like, my vision is worse than the right most picture in the image below.

Can you help me afford this surgery?

If I take my glasses or contacts out, I can't read, drive, cook, or walk around really. This has costs me (and my family) about $1,000 a year for the last 24 years - enough to buy a car. Most of you know I don't come from a well-off family; which means I've had to bare the brunt of not being able to continue my studies or take care of myself when we couldn't afford eyecare. (Though on the bright side, my trauma response has resulted in excellent organizational skills; everything in my house has its place so I know where to find it without having to see.)

Now that my eyesight has stabilized, I can finally have corrective eye surgery! Normally, this would cost around $3,000. However, due to my severe condition, it will cost me $10,000!!!!!

That's a lot of money; and you know interests are ridiculously high right now.
