Hi, my name is John, and I am reaching 14 years old. In 2015, I received my first gaming console, the Xbox One S. Like other gamers, I soon got addicted to games, however my grades were still outstanding. Also, like other parents, they fear that their child is gaming too much, and there grades will start to slip. I maintained my grades, or even got higher, so my parents weren't worried in all honesty. In 2018, I wanted to take my gaming stage to the next level. I wanted to become a professional gamer. Anyone knows to become a pro at any game, you need the best setup, gear, peripherals etc... Minimum $1000, maximum $3000.
After 2 years into 2020, I only have £250 saved up. I've started this fundraiser so it can help me raise more money towards my gaming setup. Now, I know you've read the title, and you wonder, "Why should I donate to this kid for a gaming setup." I know there are other boys and girls like me, but I feel unique then others. I feel like I can take gaming to a next level, I feel like I can make gaming my career. However, currently my parents are saving up to buy a £350K house, and pay 100K for my sister's medical university. We're not doing bad or good in all honesty, we're in the middle.
With this money, I want to buy a setup and keep the rest in the bank. I want to become a professional gamer, partnered Twitch streamer, be a role model /inspiration. I want to earn money and help: My parents pay for the house, pay for my sister's university, donate to COVID-19 and charities, make my family of 6 not so stressed about money, etc... I knwo during COVID-19, mine and all families around the world are struggling, but a penny counts. Thank you for reading all of this, as it is much appreciated. Have a nice day! :)
