My aunt and uncle have lost everything. My aunt didn't realize that the insurance they have only paid to cover the payoff on the loan ...NOT the replacement of the home,only content. We are trying to raise enough money to help them get a used 1980's mobile home, that they were able to obtain... ready to be lived in. The home needs ALOT of work... the county will not let them even have utilities, until they have a complete roof and other work done to it. It is leaking water and has mold, all the floors have to be redone. The home is completely unliveable at this time. They are currently living in a camper that they were able to purchase for a 1000.00. Its not much... but to them...is a place to call home. It does have air but no hot water and the windows are broken and it leaks. They are raising their two granddaughters and are natives to the Lancaster/Great Falls SC area. My uncle is very handy but at nearly 60...needs a few younger helping hands. Neither of them are selffish and would give you the shirt off their back... even if they needed it more. I have inserted the news clip above of the fire dated 6-11-14. I know they are feeling very overwhelmed right now...but I believe if we can get them atleast a solid roof over their heads ...it will give them a place to start. The girls start school on Monday Aug. 18th and we are desperately trying to help them. PLEASE HELP-NO AMOUNT IS TO SMALL
