Whereisvasan? A social mission from New York to Kuala Lumpur

Babel Project 2019.. A project which is very close to my heart. After multiple hiccups and challenges, I'm heading out on the road on 15th of August. How long it will take for me before i reach Malaysia? It all depends on all of your support!

Babel Project 2019.. It's a social mission. A mission to travel on land, by any and every mean, hitch-hiking, buses, trains, walking and potentially a long boat ride, from New York to Kuala Lumpur. Most of the time i'll be camping somewhere along the way or i'll be living with the communities learning and understanding the different ways of life.

Along the way, i'm stopping by several cities to conduct sustainable development workshops based on the United Nations' 17 SDGs in communities for its youth leaders and in universities. The goal is to build a network of youth leaders who is trained to initiate local sustainable projects and to congregate each one of them in a common platform to discuss and share ideas to create a sustainable environment around them.

As of now, I have 2 communities and 1 university in Mexico, 1 university in Colombia and 1 community in Guyana who has confirmed to host and be part of the project. I need all your support to reach out to more communities and make my dream a reality. A dream to connect and bridge the gaps we've created between us human beings.

Where the funds will be utilised?

50% of the funds will be used for the workshops and to support some parts of the projects initiated by the workshop participants.

50% will be utilised for the travel expenses including visa, medication, insurance, food, etc.

You can support this initiative with any cash amount you are willing to part with. No support is too big or too small. Your kind heart is what matters to me most.
