SETTING

It happened! It finally happened! And no one knows exactly how. But now 80% of the world's population are walking dead. Or are they? Groups of survivors hide away in fortified camps all over the world and EVERY ONE is trained a 'zombie killer'. Small teams of these 'soldiers' go out in search of other survivors, attempting to rescue them before the zombies eat or infect them. And they will become the next zombie killers. But can they succeed?

VISION

'When It All Comes Down' is a mini zombie movie with an awesome soundtrack. This film, showing one such rescue attempt, is a music video with a difference. It is an actual mini movie, made to fit the electronic-rock sound of Man Bites Zombie's song of the same name. It is intended to capture the spirit of the traditional zombie movie, but with an updated twist. Using local free runners, dancers and choreographers, this mini-movie will be exciting and fresh, whilst retaining the traditional theme and style of the classic zombie movie.

When It All Comes Down is also one film in a series of films with the urban legend, myth or folklore theme. All of the films in this series will be entered for a minimum of 3 film festivals each, appropriate to their theme and format, and the films in this series will be made in a variety of formats and styles. For example, some will be short Independents, some music videos, etc. Once the series is finished all the films will be brought together and presented at a combined Premiere event, which will be widely publicised and well celebrated.

WHO ARE THE FILM MAKERS?

Striate (that's what we call ourselves) is a small film and music production co-operative with BIG ideas, intent on making our mark on the Creative world. We are a cooperative venture of energetic, creative and ambitious minds, committed to establishing a reputation. Striate incorporates a diverse group of directors and crew, all experienced in their field and all volunteering to help make this venture work. Each has a unique style and strength, and we are pooling our talent and expertise together to create a community interest company that will take the Independent film world by storm. Our combined creativity brings a fresh look to all projects and provides a starting platform for other emerging film making, acting and music making talent to spring from too.

WHERE WILL THE MONEY GO?

The funds we make here at WeFund will go only toward the cost of hiring the right equipment, locations, costume and make-up, insurance, and travel expenses for the cast and crew, who will be working for free on this project.

We are very much looking forward to seeing who is kind enough to back us and believe in us, and to hopefully making long lasting connections with each and every one of you. Rewards will be distributed upon completion of the film.
