Electric Wheelchair for Alan

Hello,

My name is Alan. I was an English Teacher for over 20 years, that has recently had health issues due to Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP), and am now confined to a wheelchair, unable to walk, and am unable to work without a compact electric wheelchair.

I do not receive any government financial assistance, or financial assistance from registered charities (They have completely ignored every communication to them), and as I have lost my employment. I do not have any health insurance as well.

Financially I am only able to afford a manual wheelchair, that has therefore resulted in me staying (confined) inside a small 400sq feet rented apartment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If I were able to have enough money to buy a proper Compact Electric Wheelchair. I would be able to get out to buy groceries, basic necessities, and even have a chance to return to the classroom and teach again. It would bring tears of JOY if I could independently go to the store by myself and buy a loaf of bread and a bottle of milk and return home without any assistance.

Please help me regain a small fraction of my life and acquire a Compact Electric Wheelchair to have a bit of dignity and independence.
