Jan English is a very independent, fun and beautiful disabled Marine Sgt. She is a wheelchair user and has the most beautiful Rottweiler service dog named Chayna, whom she adores. Jan has told me that always wanted to serve our country, and wore her uniform with a great deal of pride. She still has that pride and said she would do it again if she could. That is a huge statement considering she was disabled while serving our country. Jan is also a very big advocate in her community for herself and others with disabilities. She helps make a difference so now I would like to ask you to make a difference in HER life.
Jans 13 year old accessible van died about 4 months ago. She was told that it could not be repaired. None of her friends have accessible transportation that she can depend on. She never realized how important a vehicle can be to your livelihood or how long the days can be when you are housebound for all the wrong reasons. One of Jan%92%92s greatest fears is that her precious Chayna would need emergency veterinarian care and she would have no way to transport her quickly. I am working to help raise funds to purchase another accessible van for Jan.
