Not an ordinary Power Wheelchair

Hardware specification:

• The wheelchair is made from durable Lightweight Aircraft Quality Aluminium that allows it to hold up a weight of 300 lbs (~135 kg) yet it is 54 lbs only (~24.65 kg, without battery).
• It is foldable with size 95X62X34 cm^3 only, that can easily fit into the compartment of most of the vehicles and much more convenient for travelling.
• Supported by the lithium ion battery, the power wheelchair will be able to travel up to 15km by fully charged up in just 6 hours.
• In the meantime, the handles help the carer pull and push easier and, the breathable seat cushion can be removable for easy cleaning.

Software specification:

• Using Bluetooth technology, the embedded smart tracking system (i) will alert when the carer is out of the preset distance (between the carer and the elder) and, (ii) help the carer to locate the elder through our app. (Further explanation will be provided below)
• With Electromagnetic Braking System, user can change from the power mode to the manual mode safely.

The Power Wheelchair is going to apply for CE Mark and FDA certificate.

What makes smart tracking system special to a Power Wheelchair?

For carers the most stressful thing shall be getting the elders lost accidentally. However, with tracking system, you won't have such worry by simply following a few steps:

(1) Download an app
(2) Set the alert distance between the carer and the elder:
( a) 1-2 m ; (b) 5-7 m; (c) 12-15 m
(3) When you are out of the alert distance range, your mobile will ring loudly
(4) Open the app and you will get the last location of the elder right after s/he is out of the alert distance

For example, one day Victoria goes to the supermarket with her mum with our power wheelchair and she spots that there is a super sale corner. She runs to the corner immediately as usual and when she is about to take a look of the one piece, she hears an alarm quite annoying...Gosh! She leaves mum behind! Thanks to the tracking system.

Why is the smartwatch being considerate?

When the carer is away from the elder more than 15m, what should we do? If the tracking system is the 1st protection, then the smartwatch will be the 2nd protection to avoid missing the elder in a longer distance range:

(1) Ask the elder to wear the smartwatch before going out

(2) Same as the tracking system, you have to download an app for the smartwatch

(3) Simply click the GPS icon, the map will show the current location of the elder

(4) Find the elder successfully

Apart from the GPS, the smartwatch supports not only 4G and basic functions like voice and video call but also the heath tracking features such as Heart Rate and Blood Pressure, which makes it the best smart buddy to the elderly.
