Wheel vs Corona Pandemic – Support us here!

Hi everyone,

Thanks for taking the time to visit this page. Writing all of this down has been a humbling experience as none of us are particularly comfortable with the idea of asking our fans for help; considering what is happening in the world right now however, we figured it was worth creating a campaign like this for any who want to support us.

Before you read any further, we fully understand that not everyone will be able to (or want to) support us in this way and we absolutely do not expect you to. Coming to our shows, buying our merchandise and streaming our music is more than enough already and we do not feel entitled to more of your hard-earned money; this campaign exists solely for those who can both afford and want to support the future development of our band during this difficult time.

Like many other bands right now, our income stream has been obliterated in the wake of the Corona Pandemic. We are still a relatively new band and have only managed to survive financially up to this point by planning carefully, budgeting well and supplementing Wheel's expenses with our own incomes. This is by no means a complaint, we have been happy to do so and love what we do but unfortunately, having all of our work cancelled for the foreseeable future has left us in a position where not only have our personal incomes disappeared but we have extremely limited options to generate funds for our future plans for the band; plans that include making our next album. ;)

We know that we are not alone in this situation; people in multiple industries from all over the world are feeling the pinch as freedom of movement and international travel become more restricted and as nobody knows how long these restrictions will remain in place, we are all exploring alternative means to support ourselves. For the short term, we are doing our best to isolate ourselves socially and focus on what we are best at: making new music.

Be assured that when this pandemic crisis ends, we will be back out on the road with an arsenal of awesome new music to play for you and in the meantime, we are planning some cool stuff for social media to keep you entertained while you are stuck at home.
