Hello everyone, I just have a simple question for you....

What's the price for dreams?

My name's Andy and I'm the founder of 'Musclecars Universe', a non profit car photography page I started on Instagram just 1 year ago with the sole purpose of creating a community of like-minded people and share my passion for American Classics and Musclecars with the world.
I have now grown into a 30k people community where I engage with them on a daily basis.

Now, the story goes that I have been granted a media pass at the next SEMA show in November in Las Vegas and to think that in 1 year I stepped from being a complete nobody to getting accepted in the biggest car show in the world, well...it's just plain thrilling and exciting! I was also asked to serve as a judge at the GMAs, the Global Media Awards initiative at SEMA as well, so this is definitely the event of my whole life happening right now from a car photography point of view.

I've then decided to upgrade my photography gear as I want to cover the event the best way possible, I consider it as a one life opportunity kinda thing. I've purchased a brand new phone that will help me cover the event from a videolog point of view as well.
My current gear is plain amateurial and would not be able to shoot in the low light ambients of the indoor pavillions without using the flash, and as we all know the flash makes everything look a bit fake and soulless. The current DSLR I have is also outdated and obsolete.
Most recent purchase is a brand new Nikon D750 DSLR which is known for behaving amazingly in low light conditions and I'm now missing the lens, which in this case is the NIKKOR 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6
Reason for this choice is that I will need to shoot cars at track days as well so the flexibility of the superzoom is gonna come handy.

Due to a recent expenditure that killed most of my savings, the actual costs for the trip to Las Vegas, and being just 1 month away from the show, I'm not sure I'm be able to afford the lens on my own so I need to reach out and try to ask for your kind contribution towards my dream to become reality, as the item itself does not have any spiritual value but it's the vector to allow me to make my ultimate life-changing experience to come true!
I realise there are more important causes in the world and my request is extremely materialistic and unjustified, but I can say that from my end I've always been used to settle things all by myself and not to ask help whatsoever, I am an italian immigrant based in New Zealand and moved here all by myself without any aid given. I always find a way, and for this time I thought I'd give this website a try.
