Whatever happens, Family matters!

My uncle Christian was scammed almost 15 years ago. He believes in the good in people and till today this person claims to pay back her debts. Cause of that my uncle has been through a private bankruptcy but managed himself to get back on track. He helped me when I was 15 years to change life completely for the better. I fought against my overweight, started eating clean, regained my confidence and even learned a new sport, which is now one of my greatest passions. He even found himself a nice girlfriend. However three years ago he started to try out his luck on the stock market. It went terribly wrong many times, but he kept believing. After trying out different options to deal with his losses, he came by social media and through social media to online casinos too. Now his believe changed, the man who dreamed for the fast big money, suddenly tried everything to make money fast so he can pay back his debts. This, of course, had negative effects on his relationship with his girlfriend, which already ended by the time I am writing this story. It went so bad he even thought about ending his life, but I always managed to talk him out of this and after all he has a very strong will and fought his way back. Except for this one god damn time. I went to Mexico for my semester abroad, have been gone for 4 months. For these past 4 months he kept mentioning his problems more frequently and after I have met him now for a coffee, it is clear to me. His willpower seems exhausted, used up and there is nothing I can do to help this man who is one the kindest and most helpful people I know. I mean he has his one ways to teach people a lesson, he is very stubborn when learning something new but also very grateful for what he has and for what others give him. At this moment I have realized there is something I can do. I cannot give him 5000 euros all of a sudden, I am just a poor student. But what I can do, is to write a favor to others, to make his story public, make it heard and maybe I get enough money together to once again help him for a restart for the good, for the better.
