The sound of happiness is the barking of happy dogs that have overcome suffering due to human cruelty and have started to believe in a positive future.

HUNDREDS OF DOGS SUFFER CRUELTY AND ABANDONMENT IN SARDINIA EVERY YEAR!

SO FAR, WE HAVE RESCUED AND REHOMED OVER 30 DOGS! HELP US DO MORE!

Our story began in 2015 when we set up an emergency rescue home for 13 dogs that would otherwise have been condemned to life in a no-way-out concrete dog "home". With great courage and without thinking too much about the financial consequences, we converted a strip of private land into the Giardino di Memole (Memole's Garden, named after the first dog to find her forever home), which we later registered as a no-profit association. We have since dedicated time, money and soul to caring for and re-educating mistreated and abandoned dogs of all ages, which are then re-homed abroad via rescue associations in Germany, Austria and other European countries.

Unfortunately, there is widespread abandonment of unwanted dogs and puppies in Sardinia, the result of lack of awareness of the importance of castration/spaying and overall poor financial resources.

Memole's Garden has been gradually developed at into a secure structure with insulated housing for 15 dogs but our mission is ongoing. We really want to help more mother dogs with puppies but we are lacking the appropriate facilities.

Please help us to improve our facilities so that we can save and re-home more dogs. We also have ongoing food, veterinary, castration/spaying and travel costs.
