Campaign Story
Weymouth Animal Rights are an independent group, mainly from Dorset. We are a growing group of animal rights activists who dedicate ourselves to protecting animals from human cruelty.
With there being five active hunts in Dorset, there is hardly a day when our beautiful Foxes can rest easy, and we can't either.
We don't just protect the Fox though as when we arent out spoiling the hunts "blood sports ", we are Sett surveying to map and monitor our Badger population ready to protect them when the next "killing spree" begins. We also are there for Hares, Deer, Dogs & Cats and for all the animal's that have to endure a life of pain and suffering in testing labs both here and away.
Unfortunately it costs a lot to keep our animal protectors on the road, fuel, vehicle wear and tear and equipment. We do what we can to cover costs ourselves and by fundraising, auctions and collections.
We need you help and support though. If you can spare us any amount we would be greatful. It may just make the difference between us being there and a life being saved.
