SOS! WE’RE RUNNING OUT OF TIME TO BUY CAT FOOD!

Dear friends and supporters,

Christmas is just around the corner but for us instead of the most wonderful this is the most stressful time of the year! In the next 4 days we need to raise at least €700 for kitty food and other essentials if we want the supplies delivered before everyone closes for the holidays. Having regular, nutritional meals is our rescue and colony cats’ lifeline. Please, don’t ignore our plea and donate what you can to our fundraiser.

We are raising funds to buy cat food (canned and dry) and other essentials for our rescue and colony cats. We plan to place a large order for November and December. Christmas is just around the corner and this is the busiest time of the year, so we have to make sure that we have enough supplies to get us thru the festive season . So, we need your kind and generous help!

ABOUT US

Bulgarian Stray Cats Rescue & Rehabilitation Centre (BSCRRC) is run by a small team of dedicated animal lovers. We rescue, treat, rehabilitate & re-home Bulgarian cats in distress.

There are literally thousands upon thousands of stray cats in Bulgaria and they are doing it very tough, especially during the winter. Their life on the streets is a constant struggle with the elements, diseases, cat haters, cold and hunger. Only a small percentage of them are castrated. The rest keep producing. And if that is not bad enough, there are plenty of irresponsible people who keep dumping their unwanted pets. We are doing our best to alleviate their suffering.

Next week we are taking on board two very young kittens. The tiny babies have been dumped in the yard of a couple known in the village for their love for the animals. We are also searching for foster/forever homes for a number of friendly stray cats and kittens: BULGARIAN FRIENDLY STRAY CATS SEEK ADOPTION.
