Our goal is to create a self sustained permaculture education ranch in the mountains of Costa Rica. The goal is for the participants to spend no less than 10 days on the site to detoxify their bodies, learn how to eat to live/grow their own foods/use food as medicine/sustainable permaculture farming on an individual level. This is to allow the participants to return to their homes with a clear mind, clean body(and less of it due to healthy weight loss), the food knowledge and how to properly prepare/cook foods so they don't fall back into their unhealthy practices and the ability to grow much, if not all of the food they will need to maintain this new lifestyle.

So here's the story. Two Texas brothers, Scott Speck and Jeff Speck, sell it all, pack up and move to Costa Rica to start a new, simpler, more peaceful life away from the rat race. Quit good jobs with a plan to get into vacation rentals, tours and real estate. As that plan began to evolve, along comes a New Yorker, by way of the Philippines, named Tony. Tony Tortorici has spent almost his entire adult life studying food, it's characteristics, how the body metabolizes and uses it for its nutrition and for its healing. His knowledge of everything food, especially all that is accessible in the tropical regions of the world is nothing short of amazing. The three hit it off and decide to rent a house together on Playa Bejuco Costa Rica. The two Texas boys were intrigued with the knowledge of the New Yorker and begin adapt and accept a new way of thinking in regards to health, well being, food and life in general. Now they didn't go off the deep end and start sitting in naked circles by the fire chanting. They just realized that although they love a good old greasy chicken fried steak or hamburger, that's not what our bodies were designed to consume and at 45 and 55 years old, they sure felt a lot better when they ate things like fresh fish, coconut, Guanabana and Tumeric tea. And if these two rednecks could make that adjustment to live healthier lives, anyone can do it. But in order to get our Gringo counterparts in the US, Canada or Europe off of the processed junk and pharmaceutical schmorgesborg we have to get them away from that environment to break them.

Therefore, we have decided to put all of our skills and knowledge together to create a business that will enable us to sustain our modest lives in Costa Rica while offering an educational experience as a vacation in the mountains of Costa Rica, an hour from the pristine Pacific Ocean Beaches and completely immersed in learning how to fuel your body the way it was meant to be fueled but in a way that can be easily transferred and sustained as our guests return home. In order to achieve this we need the start up capital to purchase or lease the land and equipment needed to make the property the proper education environment. We have the lodging needed through friends in the mountains that want to work with us and have our guests stay in their homes. We just need to create the proper learning environment to pull it all together.

Thank you for your consideration. Pura Vida!
