Potentially, this is the most fascinating phase of transformation humanity has ever known. Because we now have the opportunity to truly become the best we can be—not for ourselves or our families but for everyone (including our future generations).

The challenge is: We’re still STUCK between two very distinct paradigms.

The one we're still in is what I call Scarcity, the “Age of Me” because everything is about me, me, me—whether that’s struggling to get ahead, stay at a job or to get a promotion. Or to do whatever we need to do to stay sane and alive. We struggle very hard because just about every basic necessity we need for our survival requires a scarce resource called money.

This scarcity culture brings out our worst as it’s "how a person with money hires another for the lowest possible wage to make as much profit as possible for the one with money."

Despite eight men having as much wealth as half the world’s population combined (over 3.6 billion people) and the 10 biggest corporations making more money than most countries in the world combined (of the top 100 economic entities in 2015, 69 are corporations, not countries), most people seem oblivious to the possibilities of true abundance or the “Age of We.”

Before Cisco’s last executive chairman retired in 2015, John Chambers had predicted 40 percent of companies would be “dead in 10 years.”

Based on status quo, with AI, automation and technologies replacing most jobs, won’t most of us (including today’s cute darlings) have no job in the foreseeable future?

As it is progressively much harder to make a living, what technology does is make it easier to amass and increasingly exploit desperate job seekers eager to take whatever work they can get. The gig economy has surfaced because good steady jobs with regular hours and decent pay are a relic of the past.

Lately, we have also been bombarded by news about universal basic income and how to protect gig workers but are they not clock solutions?

Especially with systemic challenges which are global:
