Wendy May Home Repair / Contractor Negligence

I have started this funding campaign to help my good friend of twenty years Miss Wendy Marino.

Wendy has been the unfortunate victim of a delinquent contractor who was hired to do a rehab on a home that she had purchased back in 2013 with every last dollar she had putting everything into this purchase the unfortunate circumstances has left her in a very bad state of living the home is almost uninhabitable to date and the stress of impending financial ruin has had direct impact on her heath and well being she is close poverty level due to the contractors negligence leaving no funds to hire a lawyer and barely make mortgage payments at this point its either buy food or pay mortgage . The state of CT has provided some heating and food assistance but no one should be left in this situation due to the negligence of what was supposed to be a reputable contractor . The state of CT does not require general contractors to be licensed and Miss Marino is paying the price .

The contractor was paid close to $80k for the rehab of the property and Miss Marino has estimates of close to $40k to correct subpar work performed by contractor and make home livable and brought up to code . No local government or state agencies have been ant help at all. This leaves Miss Marino unable to sell property and her investment is upside down at the point in time .She needs founds to correct all the issues subpar incorrect work .
