I have been through numerous medical ordeals, needing resuscitation and stays in the ICU. I spend 4-6 months in hospital every year but a bad decision made many years ago left me without insurance. Our insurance policies do not cover pre-existing illness and have a cap on every illness. I rely on our government hospital which has put my life in danger many times, resulting in the current situation.

It's a miracle that I am alive today. On some occasions, we have had no choice but to go private, costing us our home and every thing we had.

I have always had a dream to create a unique series of medical books to bless children across the globe. My current situation is that my spine is collapsing with most vertebrae affected by compression fractures which cause debilitating pain. I have had 3 surgeries by a private neurosurgeon that cost us a fortune but been told that nothing further that can be done.

The only chance of my survival is to get to the HSS hospital in New York. The cutting edge technology at that hospital allows spines to be completely rebuilt.

All I ever wanted to do is bless children globally, not profitting but covering the cost of my medical expenses (I need 24/7 care with a full time nurse). To my surprise, my biggest market is healthy children who learn compassion for others.

The escalating pain is worsening and I have reached the point where I need to get to HSS for a spine reconstruction.

I am currently lying in the government hospital where I have been 8 weeks with a minimum of 5-6 more weeks.
