Campaign Story
The campaign is looking to raise funds ( $ 3 000) to support the functioning of an already established and highly successful development football club in Estcourt, South Africa. The club is currently run and managed by a couple, Flora and Kelliot, who are passionate about youth development. They have been running the club using their own funds and resources and have managed to qualify for playoffs to the next division.
Flora and Kelliot started the football club as a response to the high drug and alcohol abuse and life of crime that youth become susceptible to. They wanted to create a healthy alternative where players could nurture their talent, build confidence and become responsible members of society. The young men spend much of their time after school and on weekends practicing or doing other forms of team building exercises.
Wembezi Royal Tigers consists of players, managers and a technical team that are like a family. Every member is given an opportunity to realize their full potential. Players are put through school, coaches are are put through training course and there are number of other benefits that are targeted at developing potential.
This is a good cause and creates a sustainable solution to a number of social ills. Please help to support the dreams of not only the young men but the many families who would be transformed by their success.
