Young pregnant mother, 30, dies after car crash...but her baby girl is delivered ALIVE
Just days after Christmas, a tragic car accident in Chandler, Arizona, took the life of a young pregnant mother, who had delivered her baby before succumbing to her injuries.
The victim, identified as 30-year-old Wei Chu, was eight months pregnant at the time of the deadly collision that took place Wednesday afternoon.
Chu was rushed to an area hospital, where she gave birth to a baby girl. Shortly after, the mother passed away. Chandler Police Department spokesman Seth Tyler said the newborn remains in extremely critical condition.

The victim was riding in the backseat of a Honda sedan when the car was struck by a flatbed truck near the intersection on Gilbert and Ocotillo roads, the Arizona Republic reported.
Detective Tyler told the Daly Mail in a phone interview that Chu was sitting in the rear of the car with her two-year-old child and a 56-year-old woman. A male family member was behind the wheel.
