RTM3 WEEK OF HEALING

Every year, thousands of Kenyans die due to lack of access to timely surgical interventions.

For over 30 years, ROUND TABLE MOMBASA 3, through its largest health project, RTM3 WEEK OF HEALING, has been saving lives by providing FREE LAPAROSCOPIC SURGERIES to the most needy Kenyans.

RTM3 WEEK OF HEALING is a community service project held by Round Table Mombasa 3 to assist the less fortunate members of our society. Access to professional medical care especially surgeries is a challenge for many in rural Kenya mainly due to lack of funds.

We as Round Table Mombasa 3 take a panel of renowned doctors, and medications to a hospital and perform operations free of charge. We perform the project at the district level hospitals as the most needy Kenyans requiring surgeries are in the rural areas.

RTM3 WEEK OF HEALING has brought a smile to the Kenyans who had given up hope of ever being relieved of the pains of medical conditions treatable only by surgery.

This year we're back again. RTM3 WEEK OF HEALING 2019 will be held at Kilifi District Hospital from 24th November, 2019 to 1st December, 2019.

RTM3 WEEK OF HEALING as a project, is keeping in line with at least 3 Millennium Development Goals as it reduces child mortality, improves maternal health and combats many diseases that only have surgery as an option for treatment.
