The resort site is 2 km from Shillai town on Ronhat road. Shillai is located on the ridge of a mountain at an altitude of 1796 m. The average temperature ranges from 20° to 30 °C in summer and 5° to 20° in winter.

Shillai has a temperate climate, in summer the maximum temperature ranges from 24 to 28 degrees Celsius, whereas, in winter, it snows sometimes. Shillai is divided into two regions: the Village Shillai (lower part) and the Shillai town (upper part). There is a greenbelt of a forest all around and inside the village, which is connected with the town by road as well as pedestrian roads.

Shillai is connected by State Highway No. 1 with Paonta Sahib and Rohru and with Shimla via Sona, Rajgarh, Rohnat. The town is connected with Dehradun by menus bridge, Vikasnagar in Uttrakhand.

The Kishau Dam is a proposed gravity dam on the Tons River which will straddle the border between the Indian states of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The project site is located about 39 km (24 mi) north of Dakpathar and upstream of the Ichari Dam. The primary purpose of the dam is power generation and downstream water supply. It will support a 660 MW power station and provide water for the irrigation of 97,076 ha (239,880 acres) of crops. After years of negotiations over water-sharing between the two states, the dam is currently awaiting clearance from the Ministry of Environment and Forests.

National Highway 707 (NH 707) starts from Hatkoti and ends at Paonta Sahib, both places in the state of Himachal Pradesh on its way to Paonta Sahib it travels through the Indian state of Uttarakhand. The highway is 151 km (94 mi) long. It passes through towns of Sataun, Kamrau, Kaffota, Chareu, Shillai, Shiri kyari, Rohnat in the state of Himachal Pradesh

Current Status: Currently it is a under construction project.First slab is due in March 2019 and last slab will be completed by Jan 2020. This resort will be serving vegetarian food only mostly locally (organic) produced. This is the main reason people are not investing on this project. We have already spent 110 lakhs (including land and design). Initially we were planning to open a very small guest house but we found out there is huge potential for a Resort and wedding venue.

PS: I am earning enough money for myself and my family. I am building this resort for local people so they can have job and poor farmers can earn money by selling their product to the resort. The location has very poor infrastructure and has no job for the youth. 50% people are under poverty line. This area is considered as Tribal part. There are beautiful mountains views which has great potential for tourism and destination wedding. My intentions are 100% genuine and I am ready to give all the Information/photos/videos about this place and people. I have already spent approx 150000 USD on this project.
