Hello everyone. Please help my dad and mom; Mr. & Mrs. A. W. Sease celebrate their 45th Wedding Anniversary with the wedding they never had. Mr. & Mrs. A.W. Sease met over 45 years ago; they married and bore 3 children; and now currently have 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. My dad was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma (Cancer) in 2012; the diagnosis came about after he literally broke his neck after leaving the VA for treatment with pain in his neck area. My dad had been sleeping upright in a chair for months; he even purchased his own neck brace because of the pain; however, nothing was detected. My dad had just come out of the VA in the wheelchair with my mom pushing and he stepped down to get into their vehicle......He heard a snap and felt warm fluid running down the inside of his neck. You see, the tumor that was on the back of his neck that was undetected was punctured by the bone in his neck that had snapped. My dad stood still because he was in so much pain; mom wheeled him back into the VA and they administered another pain injection. My father was in so much pain that evening he had to be taken to the emergency room. They placed him on a rotating bed and placed a different neck brace on his neck. The brace was so uncomfortable he attempted to remove the brace. The nurse urged him not to; however, the brace was causing more pain. The doctor entered the room only to tell him, his neck was broken. My father had two rods placed in his neck to hold his head up. By the grace of God he is still here. The surgeon showed us the break and told us one of two things should have happened; either immediate paralysis or death; but God! My mom and dad never had the luxury of a real wedding and they would like to have that opportunity while they still can. Dad is frail; however, he can stand for a few minutes with the assistance of a cane. Please join me in making this possible for my parents. The wedding is May 3, 2014; and we are asking for donations up until April 17, 2014. My parents have absolutely no idea I am doing this, because they are very private people. They are the best parents in the world and I would love to make this happen with your help.  Thank you for your support. We appreciate whatever you are able to donate. We would like to help fund the wedding ceremony; the reception; the rings; and at least a one night stay at a hotel for them to both enjoy room service and not have to do anything. I have attached a link that will describe Multiple Myeloma. This ordeal has been very trying for our family. Those of you that have lost a love one to Cancer know what I am talking about.  Those of you that may have a friend or family suffering right now, know exactly what I am talking about.  This is a request; if you feel led to donate we appreciate you; if it was a thought and you are unable, we appreciate you.  My mom has been a real trooper; especially with the arthritis in her knee; she still manages to serve her husband, my dad. Thank you again. Now let's make this happen, time is running out.  Please read: http://www.webmd.com/cancer/multiple-myeloma-symptoms-causes-treatment http://www.cancer.org/cancer/multiplemyeloma/index

  • Thank you for serving our country. It is a blessing to give, than to receive. I want to bless you and your wife with this gift, it is not much, but it is something. I know when I open my hand and give to you, I'll receive something back. I pray God Heals you from Cancer and you have a beautiful wedding.
