Wedding Dance Studio

About us:
     Our project idea begins with our wedding dance posted on Youtube! My name is Micky, me and my wife Oana decided to open a Wedding Dance Studio here in Romania to teach young couples ballroom dance for their Wedding Day.

     Two years ago we posted our wedding dance on Youtube and we saw that more than 4 millions people liked it, so  we think that we are able to teach it to others.
I have been a ballroom dancer for more then 10 years and now I am a certified dance instructor here in Romania.

      Our love for dance and interest in teaching the next generation of dancers, lead us for this desire to start a dance studio. A studio is an ideal place for one-on-one instruction and group education about specific dance genres. We also bought a domain name "www.weddingdance.ro' and we have a brand name for it "Magic Step" hope you like it.


The place:
       We hunted for a spacious and visually appealing  space to start our studio, as you know Dance studios traditionally have a lot of natural lighting and hardwood floors as prerequisites. Recently we found a place where we can make our dream come true, a studio located within a reasonable distance from schools and residential areas in our community to make people travel easy, but unfortunatley the place needs improvments and we hope that with this foundraising site wee'll be able to renovate it.

About Dancig:
       "Dancing is a historical tradition. Ballroom dancing has been alive at social functions for centuries, and Swing and Latin are the Waltz and Foxtrot of days gone by. In recent years, social dance has proved it's long lasting presence in our lives. It is in our media, our music and day to day social functions. It isn't usually taught parent-to-child so people are seeking schools where they can learn. With Dancesport being considered as a medal sport in the next Olympics, more people will be exposed to Social and Ballroom dance."

Our Goal:
        "Magic Step" is dedicated to bringing quality and affordable wedding dance instruction to Romania. There is a very active and dedicated ballroom dance community already located in Romania. However, there has never been an actual wedding dance studio, where these people can expand their knowledge of dance and enjoy being with other people of like interests. It is our plan to incorporate the existing dance community into our studio to begin with a strong base of supporters. From there we will be able to spread the word that dancing is a fun and exciting way to spend time. There are many benefits to dancing that will attract people from many backgrounds and interests.

• Create a wedding dance studio with a warm, supportive atmosphere, which is based on satisfying customers.
• Provide a social and entertainment forum for people with diverse interests, backgrounds and ages.
• Provide dance training for students at all levels of dance, from beginner to advanced.
• Provide continual training, benefits and incentives for staff to encourage a long-term commitment of employees.
