Wedding costs

Hi, we are Uriel and Mauricio, we're Mexican and have been together for over 3 years; we are a gay couple and just last year, my boyfriend Mauricio proposed to me.

It was all sweet until we found that, in order to get legally married we had to undergo a series of awful, expensive and unending legal procedures to make our dream come true, we started the legal process in November and still haven't gotten any clear answer from the authorities, we have payed over 80 thousand pesos (~4k USD) in lawyers and procedures regarding everything about us, from our income, to any number of other nonsenses because we're also looking forward to adopt after we get married; it's been a painful, long and expensive process, so, in order to avoid this, we opted for moving all of the planning to Mexico City where my future husband is from since the laws are much clearer and legal procedures seem to go flawlessly there as opposed to the state i was born (Yucatán).

It's been so long that right now, we just want to get married as soon as possible, we have everything set up since a couple moths and this whole situation has put an unnecessary amount of tension between both families and even between Mauri and myself.

We would use the money to move my "side" of the wedding to Mexico City so they attend the wedding, reception, both families meet for the very first time; simply put it is: Paying for at least 2 Buses to take around 40 people to Mexico City (with a couple meals included as well as an insurance fee since it's an over 10 hours trip), pay for two days/one night stay at the cheapest place we can find and send them back safely on the same buses they came.

We are still struggling a bit with the budget, but i think that getting the transportation and travel lunch cost off my back would leave me free to focus on the rest of planning, we want to get married on March 21st (the day Spring begins) but if not possible we would leave it for the first 5 days of April.

The only rewards we can give you are mentioning you in the twitter account we just created as a wedding "sign book" and uploading the wedding video to any popular platform you want, or, if possible, livestreaming it.
