We will freeze without your help!

 The orphans and refugees from Ukraine are in need of warm clothes! You are able to help them! Each dollar will give a warm winter to a child from Slavyansk or Donetsk!     Our purpose is to raise money for buying warm clothes for 150 children from war zone in East Ukraine...   Anya: - “I was 7 years old; I used to live in Luhansk. This fall, I supposed to start my classes at the best school of the city and I was getting ready for the first ballroom dance competitions. But the war came and my school burned down, so that competition won’t happen... Now I do not know if I’d wear my ball dress again and whether it’s still exists. And yet in the house I left my dog, boxer, it is 8 years old... I remember it from childhood ... And we cannot go back home to pick it up, and warm clothes, too”. Ruslan, 6 years old: - "The mine exploded very close to our house. The window was broken, and a piece of glass hurt my mom's hand. There was a whole river of blood! I’ve thought that if my mother would die, I’d die too”. In spring in the East of Ukraine began war. Conventional wars, which are a lot in the world, the cities are shelled and bombed, subjected to a blockade, leaving for months without electricity, water, communication with the world and without food - in 21st century in the center of Europe, people are dying from hunger and sometimes even in the line while buying water. Many families left their homes and all their stuff just to survive. Small Ukrainian children shared with adults all their grief, they saw destruction and death, and they’ve lived in basements and cellars, lost their relatives and friends… Are children guilty in all these terrible things?     We can’t stop the war and coming winter, which is going to be very long and cold, as usual. First frost could be in October and last to the very spring. Taking care of these kids’ lives we realized that it’s not enough to warm them with warm souls only. More important now is not to let them freeze physically, which means to get them warm clothes, just like their grannies and moms used to do: they need not only psychological support but also warm jackets, sweaters and boots, which would let them survive through this cold winter. Do we have to say that buying that many clothes is very expensive? That is the exact reason they are that much in need of Your help! Help of people, who by the will of God found this project. The largest amount of money would be spent on kid’s shoes. In conversion to US dollars, quality boots that will warm children's feet costs $ 55. It's not such a high price, but it’s unbearable for us who need to buy shoes for 80 girls and 70 boys: that is the exact amount of children who are now under our care. Warm baby jacket is a bit cheaper - $ 39. That price is equal to one visit to McDonald's. Warm trousers or a hat costs even less. Our kids hope for your help only. They don’t have literally anything, even toothbrushes and pencils ... They rejoice tangerines as the most desired gift…  Our kids are in need of literally everything, from toothbrushes and pencils, and tangerines they rejoice as the most desired gift ... Even such a simple pleasure like going to school may become unavailable if there is no gasoline for transport, and go to the nearest school falls through huge forest ... But winter is on the doorstep, and warm clothing is expensive - so even the usual walk in the first snow and playing snowballs for our children can become unrealistic. But here’s the burning question we can solve together. How warm the children?   What is our goal? 22,350 $ for warm winter   We - Charitable Organization “Fund for Peace” are doing everything possible for children from the East of Ukraine, where’s a war now, not to feel alone and abandoned in this terrible situation. That's why we’ve organized a camp for children of refugees, which became home to about 150 boys and girls, and we’re helping them to return to normal life, which should be available to all children. About us and our projects   "Charitable Fund for Peace" takes part in the creation of camps for children from the war zone and helping the military, who are fighting for our country. We supply food to the occupied territories and help those who cannot leave the war-torn region. But our main pain – children, whose peace has been taken away from their childhood. Children should not be responsible for the sins of the adults. They never play war games and always cry when they hear the thunder. They lost everything. But they have you, kind and caring, ready to help those who have survived through the worst. We arose when there was a need to help people who find themselves in a difficult situation, and it happened here in Ukraine in 2014. And though we are quite young, we’ve helped those who fled from the war zone, provided psychological assistance to those who were in the occupied territories and did not know anything about the fate of their relatives. Our foundation is called Charitable Foundation “Fund for Peace”, and we will do everything to help these little children, but today they are sorely lacking for your help, even the smallest. Now more than ever they urgently need your warmth, and not only psychological, but also simple physical, jackets, hats, pants... However, talking about ourselves is silly: much better about us would tell our actions and gratitude of those who have already received such necessary help. For now we have 150 children, who are living in our camp.  If we wouldn't reach a goal of 22,350$ to buy clothes for all of them, we would spend as much as we'd have from you. If that's not going to be a lot, it would still be helpful at least for some of these children.  Here's a list of what you can donate money for now (with detailed information):   The founders of the organization are a group of concerned Ukrainian citizens, who have combined their efforts and have responded to requests for help from the wives and children of military personnel from the war zone in East Ukraine. By the volunteers we organized constant delivery of food to the conflict zone, established twenty-four hours consulting counseling service for soldiers and officers, as well as for their family members. Also, we organized a number of shares to raise funds to ensure the evacuation of peaceful civilians from the conflict zone. In these hard for our country times (economic crisis, dysfunction of the governmental institutions), we, the creators of “Fund for Peace”, believe that indifference is one of the most destructive human qualities. It’s dangerous, because by that indifference you can never stop a war that lasts in all these children’s souls, in their eyes… The most terrible experience of any young and adult person is a feeling of helplessness. To protect the weak – is a natural need of every intelligent person. We are able to feed, warm and support children, who were caught in a terrible situation. So why not do it today? Because tomorrow is may be too late... You're not facing any risks here. We will post information about all the expences, including all receipts and photos of children in new winter clothes! We are interested to make clear all the information, because this is our first project of this kind, and we are surely willing to continue such  practice, because these 150 children are in need of a lot of necessary things, not only winter clothes. But health goes first, and we have strong faith in your human qualities and big hearts, we ask you to donate as much as you can.
