WE WILL CHANGE THE WORLD

That is the name that the students created and chose for this fundraising activity.

At school, our students have been learning about different habitats around the world and the plants and animals that are in them. Now the students are putting what they have learnt into action! They are working on a project to give back to the world. They will be doing multiple activities to raise money for an environmentally-friendly organisation. Which organisation? Students will learn about different environmental issues and organisations making a difference and will vote on an organisation to donate to on 20 March, 2020.

Possible organisations to donate to include:

-World Wildlife Fund

-Bye Bye Plastic Bags

-Australian Wildlife Fund

-Rainforest Trust

-One Tree Planted

The goal of the fundraiser is to collect as many coins as the students can to create a huge eco-picture in the front of the school! And they would like your support!

When you donate, 100% of your contribution will be turned into coins to be added to our picture that we will create on Thursday, 26 March. By making a donation you will:

-Support the RISS students

-Support an environmental organisation

-Empower our young students and let them know that they can make a difference.

To let you know our success, you will receive a time-lapsed video of the students creating the picture, the name of the organisation to which the students will donate, and the total amount of funds raised!
