I need your help to fight my cancer please!

Hi everyone,

My name is Gaby, I´m 29 and I have been diagnose with Hodgkin Lynphoma. (Cancer in the blood)

In February of this year I started this journey without knowing it was cancer. I was having some symptoms and visited a Doctor thinking I was pregnant, but I was not. At first they found a mass in my left ovary, but after some exams there were a total of 3.

While in the final exams previous to the operation they did an X-ray to my chest and found another mass located above my heart, a mediastinal mass.

I was so confused by then that I reached out to a different doctor that recommend to take away only the ones in my ovaries and wait for the other one and so we did. Total they weighted 15 pounds and were hiding as a baby in my pelvis.

After a couple months of recovery I was feeling better, still had been coughing since March 16 and my blood pressure had some issues.

On June 6th a little mass started growing in my neck, after 2 months it increased its size to more than 4cms and you could see it from outside, so I visited the doctor and he said we needed to remove it the only problem is that I had pneumonia and was still getting out from an anemia.

We got it out and after a couple days I got my diagnose....

In my country we have social security and private insurance, so far I had done everything through my company´s insurance and acquired some loans to be able to pay the operations.

Once I had my diagnose I knew I couldn´t keep using the private insurance as it was too expensive, so I visited our social security hospital, after 2 months they were unable to confirm the diagnose, so I had to spent 21 days at the hospital while they did new exams to me.

Today the social security confirmed the diagnose, but still are unable to confirm which treatment I need, so now they want to do a biopsy to the one in my chest, I will be admitted once again on Monday, hopping to be there no more than 1 week.

The reason why of this fund raising is that I have been suspended from job all this time and bills keep coming, I´m being paid by our social security less than 1/3 of my salary and that is not enough to cover the monthly payments and we have already exhausted all our resources and friends we can ask for money.

Mi nombre es Gaby, tengo 29 años y me han diagnosticado Linfoma de Hodgkin. (Cancer en la sangre)

En Febrero de este año comence este viaje sin saber que era cancer. Tenia ciertos sintomas y visite al Doctor pensando que estaba embarazada, pero no. De primero encontraron una masa en mi ovario derecho, pero despues de algunos examenes eran 3 en total.

Durante los examenes finales previos a la operacion, me tomaron rayos X del pecho y encontraron una masa sobre mi corazon, un tumor mediastinal.

Me encontraba yo tan confundida que me contacte con un doctor diferente que me recomendo extraer solo lo de mis ovarios y esperar por lo otro y asi lo hicimos. En total pesaron 15 libras y se encontraban escondidos entre mi pelvis como un bebe.

Despues de unos meses de recuperacion me sentia mejor, sin embargo, estaba tosiendo desde Marzo 16 y tenia algunos problemas con mi presion arterial.

El 6 de Junio una pequeña masa empezo a crecer en mi cuello, despues de 2 meses crecio a mas de 4cms y se podia ver desde afuera, asi que visite al Doctor y el me dijo que necesitavamos removerlo, el unico problema era que tenia neumonia y todavia estaba saliendo de la anemia.

La removimos y despues de unos dias obtuve mi diagnostico.......

En mi pais tenemos el Seguro Social y Seguro Privado, hasta el momento todo lo habia manejado a travez del seguro de mi compañia y adquiri ciertos prestamos para poder pagar las operaciones.

Una vez que tuve el diagnostico yo sabia que no podia seguir usando el seguro privado ya que era muy caro, asi que visite el hospital de nuestro seguro social, despues de 2 meses ellos no eran capaces de confirmar el diagnostico, asi que tuve que pasar 21 dias en el hospital mientras me realizaban examenes.

Cuando empeze esta campaña el seguro social me habia confirmado el diagnostico, pero seguian sin saber que tratamiento darme, por lo que me admitieron nuevamente por 16 dias para una biopsia al tumor de mi pecho. Sigo en espera de los resultados los cuales me daran hasta el 11 de Enero.

La razon por la que empece esta campaña es porque he estado suspendida de mi trabajo y las facturas siguen llegando, el seguro socail me esta pagando menos de un tercio de mi salario y eso no es suficiente para cubrir mis pagos mensuales y ya hemos agotados todos nuestros recursos y amigos a los cuales les podemos pedir prestado dinero.
