We Love Debbie

Update posted by Ingrid Allan On Feb 17, 2020

After a long and courageous fight, Debbie passed away on Thursday 13’th February 2020. Her spirit and memory lives on in all of us who love her so dearly and will miss her so much! Something Debbie expressed to me so many times was how grateful she was to all of you who have supported her, shared her funding page, donated to her fund and kept her in your thoughts and prayers. THANK YOU 🦋 May Debbies laughter and kind spirit be in our hearts and minds forever

Debbie has moved to a step down unit which is like a hospice in Hermanus, close to her Dad and sister. She is fighting in true Debbie style and refuses to give up. She is on very strong pain medication as her severe pain continues. Her friends and family took her to the beach yesterday which was where she wanted to go, Debbie loves the ocean. I’ve added some photos in the section above. Please keep Debs in your thoughts and prayers ❤️

Debbie started Chemotherapy again last week and it has hit her hard. She has had to have blood transfusions and is in hospital again for now. Please keep Debs in your thoughts and prayers 💕 Debbie is strong and a fighter but needs all the support she can get!

Thanks so much to everyone that has shared and donated to Debbies fund. Debs is staying with a friend at the moment and trying to get stronger. She is experiencing spinal pain and leg cramps but is managing to walk short distances and is able to spend time outside in the great Cape Town sunshine. Thanks for keeping Debbie in your thoughts and for all your support ❤️
