He was having a hardtime breathing when we rushed him in PGH. We found out after series of test Joppa has a High Risk Pneumonia. He is currently confined in PGH a little water in his lungs but doing well now and being treated. He also have bedsores all over but being addressed as well.

We already finished his 3rd cycle of temozolomide. luckily we were able to get the last cycle (meds) from PCSO. Last Monday he was schedule for BRAIN MRI to check any development from the previous MRI. Yesterday we received the result and we are overwhelmed and grateful for the good news as the reault shows no new progession and a good change in tumor size. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿปโ˜๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

Joppa will still have to go another set/cycle of temozolomide. We are crossing our fingers to get all the cycles from PCSO.

We are happy to share this moment with you all. Please continue to Include Joppa in your prayers and support. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

Thank you and God bless us all.

Finally after 2months of waiting we received our chemo drug from PCSO. A medication that cost P46k for 5 days.

Salamat po sa mga naging instrumento para makakuha kami just in time for his 3rd cycle.

Malaking bagay sya for us na makasave pa for his other maintenance meds

He had his check up last wednesday at PGH. As per doctor it was a good sign that no seizure activity after our discharged and the pain is now manageable.

He has bed sore now and we are addressing it not to spread to parts where he can feel it.

We will continue the medication plus the antibiotic given to him for his urine.

We are behind schedule for our second round of chemotherapy which cost roughly 42,000 for a 5 days treatment. We paid for the first cycle since there was no available meds in PCSO. It saddened us that after 1 month of application and waiting for PCSO still there is no available meds while the supplier we have check around the metro has. WHY? ๐Ÿ˜’

My God give us strength each day as this too shall pass. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿปโ˜๐Ÿป Blessed Sunday to all.

Aside from his regular maintenance medicine we are giving him supplements and natural medicines that may help fight Big C. We made a schedule of what and when to take the medicines to make sure not to skip any of those to avoid any untoward incident again.

We also considered alternative natural medicines to fight Big C while we are waiting for the next cycle of chemotherapy. This may help to slow down the progress of the bad cells. We are now more conscious with the foods that we serve for him and make sure we give him proper diet and nutrients. We also try to avoid all possible cancer causing food like fast food, processed food, red meat and sweets.

He is more comfortable and he is recovering his strength after almost a month in PGH. He can hold his cellphone now and practicing to sit because he said he already wants to work again. :) We may feel lost at times but we are amazed by his fighting spirit and we can tell that C won't stop him in pursuing his dreams. we love you Jop we will keep on fighting.

Again we would like to thank everyone who are praying for Joppa's health and total healing. Thank you also to all who extended their support, in helping Joppa and our family for the hospitalization and Joppa's medications.

This will be a very long journey for our family but we know we are not fighting this battle alone.

God Bless you All.

We already have in hand TEMOVEX temozolomide however Joppa was having a fever for days. We cannot proceed with the treatment until the main cause of the fever will be addressed. To check where infection is coming from, His urine and blood were tested. After the test we found out that it was from his urine and Joppa was given an antibiotic.

We feel like we are running out of time, his pain sometimes worsen and there is nothing we could do. He began to feel chest pain and he cant barely move his both hands because of pain. He was also having a hard time swallowing food because of sore throat and cough.

We have met pain specialist to manage the pain and food dietitian to help him gain weight since he could only eat 3 to 4 tablespoon per meal.

We prayed hard na sana lahat ng test maging ok and makiayon saaming pamilya lalo na para kay Joppa. We receieved a goodnews today, He is negative from pneumonia, his lungs are clear and normal temperature. Finally after a week of waiting for his fever to subside due to the infection in his urine we are already given a clearance for his first cycle of oral chemotherapy. Today is his first day of Oral Chemo.

To all our prayer warriors, please continue to pray for our Joppa that the oral chemo will give Joppa a better quality of life with us his family.

We have tried our very best to seek for help with PCSO but the saddest part we received a note that Medicines are suspended, meaning we have to call from time to time to check the availability ofthe medicine by June or July. ๐Ÿ’”

While waiting for PCSO medicine, our family decided to purchase the first set for his first cycle of chemotherapy because we can longer wait for another months to passed marami pwede mangyare. We have raised some fund and we can contribute as family para matuloy na ang kanyang chemotheraphy.

We've been in the hospital since May 8 and Doctors already have a discharge order however Joppa suffered from another mild seizure early this afternoon that is why we will again have to stay for another 24hrs for observation and another series of test.

We would like to thank everyone who gave their prayers, support, who helped us and continuously helping Joppa. Please continue to pray for our Joppaโ€™s total and complete healing. ๐Ÿ™
