We Are With You, Maxima!

Máxima Alvarado Miranda, a ten-year old participant in Warmi Thikay Wasi’s after-school program is the first to welcome any new visitors to the center with a warm hug and her welcoming personality creates a comfortable atmosphere for all. On October 23, 2013 Máxima suffered an accident in the home of her older sister where she procured first, second, and third degree burns on her hands, feet and face. Máxima was helping her older sister care for her children when there was a gas leak the resulted in a major fire. Thankfully, the girls were helped to safety by neighbors and other family members but Máxima still requires many more surgeries and a wide variety of medicines/antibiotics in order to recover fully. Máxima's parents along with the Warmi family are asking your help to ensure a hasty recovery for Máxima and support for their family as both daughters recover from the accident.

Máxima's Dad, a brick layer, and Mom, who gathers flowers to sale, are by their daughters' side day in and day out in the hospital but with the number of surgeries and antibiotics needed by both girls, they are reaching out to the global family for support. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated and please support the cause by sharing this page to your personal networks so that as many people as possible can extend their support and prayers to Máxima and her family during this difficult time.

En el 23 de Octubre, Máxima sufrío un accidente cuando ella estaba en la casa de su hermana mayor y quemaduras de primer, segundo y tercer grado (en manos, pies y cara).

Por lo cual acudimos a tu solidaridad ya que la familia es de bajos recursos económicos; y los medicamentos y tratamiento que necesita son muy costosos. Donaciones de cualquier cantidad se aprecian.
