We are fighting for our baby boy

Hey all, my family is fighting to help restore my baby boys life. My 7 year old son has recently been diagnosed with level 2 autism, it is heartbreaking as he has always been a bright young man.

When he first started showing signs of Asperger's syndrome, he was 3. But due to level 1 autism not requiring a diagnosis, almost nothing could have been done at the time except for watch. It was only a year ago when I started to notice a big difference. He was not responding to his name anymore. After that we decided to take him in for diagnosis, and after the analyses were complete, the doctors confirmed stage 2 of the autism spectrum disorder. ABA therapy is recommended, setting us back around $45,000.

In addition to ABA, doctors also included

• -Occupational therapies $40 per 45 -minute session- for a total of two 45 minute session per week.
• -Educational therapies. 2020/2021 School Year: $70 per 70-minute session- for a total of 1 70 minute session per week
• -Any other therapies needed after ABA

We are reaching out to anyone who wants to help, friends, family, anyone. Mental illness without treatment can only get worse, and it seems like we are at a loss of time. Thank you for your big heart
