Fund the Dream!

Well, before you pass up on this as a stupid campaign, give me a moment of your time and just scroll down!

Hi I'm Jb Bueno and I'm a student studying Law right now in the Philippines

I enjoy playing as much as the next kid! I'm actually an avid player of FPS and MMORPGs.

I've only just recently started competing globally when I picked up my PS3 4 years back, since then I have qualified on leader boards for Black Ops 1, Modern Warfare 3, Battle Field 3 and The Last of US.

For the PC, I was an avid fan of Ragnarok Online, playing with my Guild, we used to be one of the top contenders for our server at the time. I also played heavily DoTa and LoL.

Here's the Rub

I've been leaning towards the PC more and more since the real competitive stuff is on them compared to consoles. Don't get me wrong, I love just chilling and playing on play station. But nothing beats HD graphics and large battles on a PC whilst on battlefield.

I currently own and use a Mac Book Pro which I have been using as a "gaming" laptop for quite sometime now. Ever seen what DoTa 2 looks like on a MBP, think DoTa 1 but less FPS, like at 25 FPS. That's not just sad, it's like depressing level. hence,

Help me build my dream rig!

I'm not asking to build a super computer here, just enough to enjoy how games were supposed to be played!

The goal here is to raise 1000 dollars so I can go out and assemble the PC and join the PC master race!

GTX 980 Ti - 600$ Well it's not a Titan X but hell, we don't need that much power anyway, we'll be just fine with this!

MSI z97 Micro ATX - 100$ The best bang for the buck Mother Board at this point

i5-4970k - 200$ Multiple cores, Check. Overclock potential, Check. Just short of going for an i7, ideal.

Corsair Vengeance RAM DDR 4 16B - 120$ Well the more RAM the better, 8 is the new baseline so 16 is a comfortable bet to utilize

Corsair 1000Wk - 200$ Corsair is a trusted brand, 1000W rather than a 650W for good measure

Samsung SSD 850 Evo 50g - 250$ A Solid State Drive is indispensable when it comes to performance, this will help boost the rig over all

All the other parts, case, board, fans, mouse and display, I already have!

You must be wondering why the list seems to be over the 1k$ I wanted to put up

Well I know this is a long shot, but 1000$ will really put this project in the right direction and help in acquiring the parts gradually! The gaming landscape should be about the same till later on, so these parts will hold their own for the time being and for the near future.
