Wayne Ford Cancer Fund

Wayne Ford beat leukemia once, and he will do it again, with a little help from his friends. Wayne and Courtney Ford had recently celebrated Wayne’s two year anniversary of being 100% cancer free, but shortly after found out that this fast paced moving disease had snuck in engulfing 52% of his white blood cells. Wayne is facing another difficult battle ahead. He will need a bone marrow transplant and additional treatments to beat Leukemia again. However, Wayne's treatments were being delayed because of insurance inconsistencies. Nevertheless, if there is a will there is a way, friends of the Fords were able to raise enough money to “buy” him a deposit for the much-needed treatment until his insurance begins coverage on October 1, 2012. The cost for the treatment that Wayne received in the one week is over $20,000, and the continued care he will need includes 10-15 injections, which will cost $1,000 per. The purpose of this project is to raise the funds necessary to help with Wayne’s medical expenses while he is receiving care without insurance. As little as, $12 could help us raise the funds needed to help this family! Thank you and God Bless!
