  • The inventory will be solely donated items from individuals and non-profit organizations.  These items will need to be in good and lightly used condition in order to be on the site.    These items will not be for sale on the site, rather they will be free to the consumer.  The customer will; however, pay shipping costs to receive their items.

  • Once a partnering organization, it is to receive donations for this fundraising program.  It could co-exist with an existing clothing program the partnering organization may have and be a way to raise money for the organization.  All the organization would have to do is advertise that it is accepting donations (look below for acceptable donations) and set up a time and place to collect.  There is no charge to the non-profit organization for participation.  The organization must notify WayBack Campus when the items are receivable.  However, the non-profit must participate by donating items that when totaled together, value at least $250.00 per month to WayBack Campus (as of June 2011, the Internal Revenue Service requires a receipt for a donation worth more than $250.00).  We strongly encourage more items due the need to have a variety of selections for the consumer.  WayBack Campus will also aid in determining the value of the items.  WayBack Campus and the nonprofit or organization will make arrangements to have the items picked up.

  • The revenue will come from monthly customer memberships.  This is a new approach to fundraising and thrift shopping.  Nonprofits that contribute items to WayBack Campus will be able to participate and receive a particular % of the monthly generated revenue for one year.  An example of this is below:

  • The % of the revenue the entity receives is contingent upon the number of organizations that agrees to partner with WayBack Campus.  However, WayBack Campus agrees to limit the number of organizations it partners with to five organizations indefinitely.  WayBack Campus reserves the right to increase or decrease this number if it so chooses. There is opportunity for the nonprofit to continue the membership pass the one year deadline.
  • Examples of items eligible for donation are:

      Clothing

  • Bottoms (Pants, Capris, Shorts, Skirts, Corduroy, Rompers, Overalls, etc.)
  • Tops (Shirts, Sweaters, T-Shirts, etc.)
  • Dresses (Formal & Casual)
  • Suits (Men/Women)
  • Shoes (In good condition)

 Accent Furnishings

  • Lamps
  • Candle Holders
  • Rugs
  • Throw Pillows
  • Accent Chairs
  • Vases
  • Accent Pieces
  • Mirrors
  • Gently used bedding
  • Trunks
  • Wall Decor
*If there are any questions regarding an item, notify WayBack Campus about the matter.
  • We ask that each partnering organization obligates itself for the first three consecutive months before it decides to withdraw.  WayBack Campus wants to be able to maximize profits by allowing time to increase consumer awareness of the site and generate memberships.  However, if the non-profit, for any reason, wants to withdrawal from the arrangement after those three months, the entity may do so. Please notify WayBack Campus before any withdrawal is made and speak with the Manager about the decision.  When the non-profit or organization withdraws, the items given to WayBack Campus will be our property and will not be given back to the nonprofit or organization under any circumstances.
