What is water?

Water comprises 70 % of your body weight. Water is the basic right of every human being. Water is life and water is hope (you can't go three days without drinking water).

Our unfortunate community has been suffering from the worst kind of water troubles for many years now, and I've started wondering at people who treat water like it's everywhere, when we in this village are starved for the sight of a sweet drop of hope.

What are we going to do?

The local administration has so far paid no heed to the problems of our neighborhood, and so our community has decided to take matters in our own hands and pull together to raise around $ 12000 for buying a water treatment plant which would supply water to more than 240 households of our community. So far we've only been able to raise $7283 by getting donations from our local resources.

How can you help in adding to this hope?

I ask the kind hearted people at Gogetfunding to help us get our basic right to clean and healthy water, to help us live a healthy life, to help us save our community from cholera, typhoid and diarrhea - diseases which are rampant here due to the un-chlorinated water supplied by the local administration. Even that water is rare and muddy, and almost always leads to disputes among locals who've become desperate and have no idea what to make of this situation. After all how can one live without water, without hope?

While the government is busy selling land to private developers, our area has been heartlessly neglected by it, and its development has been ignored. Please help us get a clean water supply which is right now the most important thing for our community. We will really appreciate your kindness and goodwill in contributing to this humanitarian cause. No words will be able to amply convey our gratitude for your kindness and generosity.
