Water Tanks For Drought Areas

The Emergency and Disaster that’s being experienced in Laikipia North in the county of Laikipa is extremely sad and horrifying as the communities and schools are experiencing loses in their animals which they highly depend on due to the drought and school going children are not able to attend and cope due to lack of water and food.

The steps on which we intend to take is to focus and create vulnerability to the drought stricken areas in these communities to be able to cope and decrease the impact of the loses of human life, Livestock. We shall recognize and identify the most vulnerable areas and start implementing our PVC Tanks Installations and Water.

In water use it is mainly women who collect, carry and mange water for domestic use, women in these communities play a further and substantial role through their productive activities in subsistence.

The funds will be utilized in buying of the PVC water Tanks and construction of the base slabs and long term water catchments.

This fundraiser is for drought affected communities of Laikipia North, County of Laikipia, for families affected in the communities , schools and minimizing the loss of their livestock which they highly depend on.
