I have been teaching infant/child water survival for 4 going on 5 years. While I have been teaching I have realized how many kids will never have the opportunity to have lessons due to funds, location, and the ability to have access to this kind of education.

My hope and vision is to start a non profit that would allow myself and eventually other trainers to travel abroad for a couple months a time, to teach children in yearly flood plains,costal cities, islands, water survial.

Lets talk statistics:

"In 2015, an estimated 360 000 people died from drowning, making drowning a major public health problem worldwide. In 2015, injuries accounted for over 9% of total global mortality. Drowning is the 3rd leading cause of unintentional injury death, accounting for 7% of all injury-related deaths.

The global burden and death from drowning is found in all economies and regions, however:

low- and middle-income countries account for over 90% of unintentional drowning deaths;
over half of the world's drowning occurs in the WHO Western Pacific Region and WHO South-East Asia Region;
drowning death rates are highest in the WHO African Region, and are 15-20 times higher than those seen in Germany or the United Kingdom, respectively."( In 2015, an estimated 360 000 people died from drowning, making drowning a major public health problem worldwide. Teaching is truly my heart work and I can not think of a better way to help the world out, help out children who have no access to this education.

I have taken it upon myself to start giving scholarships for my program locally, to help provide local children the same opportunities. I have also started a non profit called Child Water Survival International. Which will provide lessons free of charge to children who live in high drowning rate areas and do no have access to water survival education.

Your donations will go to the non-profit and will go towards accessing areas to teach children ages 6 months-6 years old.

Please donate, even a dollar goes far.

Thank you for sharing my passion and thank you for helping me drop the statics of drowning around the world. We truly can make a differnce.
