Campaign Story
Am afounder and executive director of Soil,Water & Environmental Conservation Foundation Kenya ( SWECF KENYA) .the organization is small and young but growing first.we work with over 115 self help groups made by communities.I decided to fundraise this two programs for water projects and Environmental Conservation programs because they are one thing.our community they suffer both.there is lack of enough water to the communities we work with,( Eastern & Northern parts of Kenya) due to lack of enough water as challenge children not to go to school.are being send by parents to go to fetch water .during dry season they walk long distance for about 15 km.we request funds to do water projects ( sand dams, boreholes, rock catchments school tanks) if we can get your support ,our children and community will be in safe side . children will go for education, they will be smart due to enough water for bathing and clean water for drinking.
Also, Our Environment as been affected by climate change.due to povert , community as been practicing charcoal business ,more defforestation in our our areas,we request funds to train out community about the importance of conserving our environment.also we need to practice more afforestation programs within the areas.your support will be highly appreciated
