Despite of the encourgaing signs in Tanzania that people have now understood the importance of having clean and safe water, important of hand washing when and how during the awarness raisning program conducted during the SWASH program still number of erupted diseases like diarrhea and typhoid are facing the community about 75%of the children suffer from such diseases yearly and 33%of them die in Nzega"its added that 1-3% children from a single family die from diarrhea yearly".Apart from that still there are many other challenges facing the villages like Nhamagumo village where absence of clean and safe water near to the village is the main reason. Women have to walk for 2-3 hours to reach the water sources and still its not that clean nor safe.Apart from diseases caused by usage of unclean and unsafe water as i mention above, aslo the distance is one of the biggest challange that results to gender violance such as raping due to distance from their village which lead to another problems such as HIV/Aids spread,unwanted/erly pregnancy, wife battering for delaying to come back home from water fetching.65% of women in various village experience wife battering yearly(Action researchdone to the women lives in Nhamagumo Village,November 2014). Despite of the distance Steel in order to gate water they had to dig the ground which is also done locally so as to collect water, and result is the water that mix up with mud which lead to unclean and safe water that go hand in hand with the destruction of the environment as it perpetuate soil erosion. The project aim to start with Nhamagumo Vilage and spread to other village in Tanzania that faced water clisis problem,as it now affecting more than 300 households with the total number of more than 4000 villagers that goes to 77% with no access to clean and safe water.
