Malcolm has the opportunity through his school to take a trip to Washington DC, April 13-17 2014 through a tour group called American Christian Tours. He will be spending three days emerged in the history of our country.
During that time he will be visiting sites some only read about in history books.
WWII memorial, Ford's Theater, Petersen house (where Abe Lincoln took his last breath), Nat'l archives, Pentagon, Pentagon Memorial, FDR Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, MLK Memorial, US Supreme Court, Library of congress, US Capital, Smithsonian Museums, Vietnam Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Korean Memorial, Iwo Jima Memorial, Arlington Nat'l Cemetery, Mount Vernon, AF Memorial
This opportunity will help history come alive for every 12 and 13 year old who is fortunate enough to attend, and may be a once in a life time event.
The goal is to be able to send both Malcolm and Yalanda on this trip. The total for both of them to go will be $1,423.00. Please consider sponsoring Malcolm through this site.
