Washington D.C. or BUST!

Hello, my name is Christopher Michael. I am 12 years old, in 7th grade at Ruckel Middle School, and I am hoping to raise money to offset the total cost for each of my 19 classmates and I to take our 8th grade, middle school, Washington, D.C. Field Trip on November 9-13, 2017. The total cost per student is $1,998.00. If I can raise $2,000.00, then that would knock $100.00 off everyones trip price, and then I can help make sure that my classmates who have hard working moms and dads that cannot afford the full price can still go, and hopefully be able to buy at least one souvenir before we come back home. All trips must be paid in full by 08/26/2017. I live in Niceville, Florida. My town is surrounded by many Military Bases. One of the reasons that I really wanted to go on this trip (besides getting to go to D.C.!!!) is so that we can hopefully actually tour the White House, and if so, I can ask President Trump what his plan is for the Air Force Base that my community thrives on, and what he plans to do to keep my friend's parents, and my family members employed in the Civil Service fields. These are very important topics to me. I want to ask him what he will do about the opioid problems which are plaguing my community. I have extended family members in my father's family with substance abuse issues, so this is an issue I hold very dear to me. I want to ask him if he can help fund the opening of more accessible inpatient treatment facilities so they can get help, the help that they need. If I could make even 1/4 of my goal, that would be amazing, and I would be so grateful! Even being able to help one other student not have to worry about not being able to pay to go on time would fill my heart with joy!
