Let’s Give Mommy Weng a Successful Kidney Transplant Operation

Let's start by bringing everyone up to speed on mom's medical journey thus far.

My mom has a diabetes for 20 yrs. It was a sudden turn of event when she suddenly got worse, only to find out that both of her kidneys have failed already, thus the need to do weekly dialysis and do kidney transplant as soon as possible.

Why are we fundraising?
My mom doesn't have health insurance aside from PhilHealth or SSS, which means that in full amount, all expenses will be shouldered by our family. There are also numerous expenses that my brothers and I will endure before and after her surgeries:

Here are some of the expected costs pre/post surgery:

*hospital expenses as she is currently confined at Delos Santos Hospital because of her weak immune system having a pneumonia as additional complication.
*20 hr dialysis per week while preparing for the surgery once we get a kidney donor
* Pre-transplant evaluations and testing
* Extensive dental work (required for cardiac clearance)
* The surgery itself (including surgeons and operating staff fees and anesthesia)
* Time spent in ICU
* Post-Op physical therapy and rehab
* Anti-rejection medications
* Hemoglobin injection
* Numerous (3/wk first month alone) post-op doctors visits and ongoing treatment.

My mama has been very supportive to all our dreams and desires in life, being the sole provider of our family. She fully takes care of everything with her unwavering charm and affection for us as well as to her friends and relatives. Seeing her at this current state is shattering everyone who has known my Mama Weng at her healthy, jolly, and gullible condition. We strive to bring her back to her good health and we will all continue to fight beside her.
