PLEASE, SUPPORT MY LEADERSHIP TRAINING IN BRAZIL

HELLO and WELCOME to my campaign page. My name is Melody and my roots are in Africa and i am from Zimbabwe.

I have been selected from out of about 700 candidates by Elos Institute to be a part of a program called Warriors Without Weapons, which will take place in Brazil, with 60 other participants from around the globe. Warriors Without Weapons is an international, experiential, leadership, community and social enterprises training program offered to people who want to change the world. This program offers a number of tools that facilitate collective decision-making and implementation of projects in communities in a challenging, cultural and social environment.

The 60 Warriors from over 15 different countries come together and realize a collective dream with 3 under-privileged communities in Santos, Brazil. The participants will work hand-in-hand with the communities to plan, design and materialize tangible and exciting outcomes. As this is an experiential training methodology, it emphasizes that the participants work collectively, hands-on and in a fun and meaningful way with the communities.

This training is an opportunity to be an instrument of change by enabling me to get competencies i require to be a better leader and change-maker. There are also opportunities to share experiences and knowledge with
other participants which is a great learning and networking opportunity. I really want to participate in the program to gain technical and personal capacity to continue undertaking creative youth programs back in Zimbabwe with what i learn in Warriors Without Weapons training program.

Why i need your support?

I need to raise the other part of the amount which is US$2500 for me to be able to attend this program, for my flight tickets, immunizations and allowances for the month (inclusive the crowd-funding charges).

This fundraising activity is already the start of the training process.

There will be a post on the official Elos Institute website page mentioning all supporters of the participants. A publication of this post will be put on the institute's facebook page that has more than 12 000 followers and i will keep you updated through various platforms about the training program.
