warm and dry winter

I am writing this on behalf of a family member which is in great need and we are all pushing it together for many years back to make things work, I hope people will understand.

Since war ended my family has no peace with the place we are living at.
The winters are long and cold the home we are living at is cold and wet and the stuff I am providing my family with is not enough to keep us living like normal people in the 21st century.
The roof is falling apart and the money would be used to fix the holes to finally have a dry home and the rest of the money would be used to change the windows in one room, in the main room witch has the heating convector. This room is the one room with heating but also with the best windows in the whole place but they are still very bad because the windows haven't changed since 1976 when the place was build and the smashed and broken windows from the war are just wrapped in nylon foil but it is manageable somehow.

I am 20 years old and I am currently the only provider for my grandma and grandpa who both are in a not so perfect health condition, especially grandpa who suffered a hearth attack a couple years ago. Grandma is also in a bad shape but she is much more running mad because of the upcoming electricity costs which this year will shoot over the roof but I have provided during the winter had some well paid jobs and managed to put some money aside for the electricity and with help of some good people at work to exchange one window. It is not quiet new but at lest it's not leaking and it will do its job for this winter.

My biggest dream is to somehow collect the needed money and make those few years the two of them have left livable for them.

I personally feel ashamed by presenting people how we live and with the fact I am asking for someones help, but there is one major thing the two of them always told me never to be ashamed to ask someone for help if I am in need and there is someone to respond to my cry of. The only fact witch keeps them running is ironic but its the memories of the war, when he used to work as a medic driver and she used to cook for all the kids from the bomb shelters. They have done a lot of good for their neighbors of witch most now are living abroad and or have already died.

Hope that there are some good people left to help us out now that we are in need.
