We are owners of two fruit and vegetable shops in Kent, and we have had to shut one down as a waitrose has been planned to be built right near to our farm shop. The other shop we own, has just started to get established in the area, but with supermarkets dominating the food industry, we are still receiving less people than we did 5 years ago at our recently closed shop. What we are trying to do, is to raise some money for a good level of advertisement, and to try and really convince people that shopping locally and supporting small business is the way to help the community thrive.
