Want to be my sons Hero

My oldest son, who lives with his mom the bulk of the time, loves big trucks. When he comes to my house, he likes the truck that I drive but is constantly comparing it to his moms boyfriends truck and that I should make mine more like "that" guys.  As a father, all I want is to make him happy and, in all honesty, be his hero. Every time he says something, it eats away at me and I feel some inadequate that I cannot give him what he wants. Maybe it is selfish, but I want to be the guy he looks up to and give him the things that he wants and thinks are cool!  I would love to purchase a lift kit to give my son the "big monster truck" that he wants to ride in, but My wife and I just had a baby so a lift kit isn't in the cards right now.

So....all that being said I'm Looking to lift my truck and be the "Cool" dad in my sons eyes. I appreciate any help in achieving this and thank you for checking my page!
