I am Jayanta Kr. Mallick aged 35 years from Bethuadahari, a block town of the district of Nadia, West Bengal, India. I have been working as Sub Divisional Information and Cultural Officer under the West Bengal Government. At present I stay in a rented house with my wife (Sweta) and one and a half years old daughter (Shinjini) at Kharagpur, Paschim Medinipur district. I have been posted here since February’2017.
Originally we are from a very remote village of Nadia named Nischintapur. I am the only son of our parents. My father Kartik Mallick was a cultivator. At present he don’t work. My mother Krishna Mallick is a housewife. I send only Rs.5,500/-every month to run their family. I know that it is not sufficient but I am helpless. West Bengal Government employees are paid the least salary in India.
In 2014, I made our new house at Bethuadahari. Then I took Rs.6,00,000/-loan from the bank and my father sold most of his agricultural lands.
In 2015, I had to took two nos. of personal loan amounting Rs.78,000/-and my father had to sell around an acre of land for my marriage. Since then I have been paying the EMIs of the loans.
In July 2017, our daughter Shinjini was born in Belle View Clinic, Kolkata. Then I had to take another personal loan of Rs.70,000/-for the treatment of my wife and daughter. In the same year I took another loan of Rs.2,00,000/-for the completion of our new house.
Since then I have been going through major financial crisis. I even cannot engage a maid servant for household works. My wife has to do everything.
In the meantime I took another personal loan of Rs.1,00,000/-in January’2018 and Rs.2,00,000/-in July’2018.
I have a passion of writing. In November’2018 my book “Forget Not to Laugh” has been published from Notion Press. I had to pay around Rs.44,000/-from the loan amount for publishing it. But till today no one has purchased it. I appeal to dear readers to go through the below mentioned links to know more about my book and if possible please purchase one copy of the book. I assure you will not waste your money.

Review of the book is available here.
Among these bad news one good news for you. My wife Sweta is pregnant again. Our second baby will come in this world in the first week of May’2019. But I am very sad nowadays. Because caesarean charge of the nursing home is around Rs.1,20,000/-and I have nothing in my hand or in the bank account. Rather very recently I have took another personal loan of Rs.26,000/-. I do not know how will I get the fund for my wife’s further treatment. I also do not know how is the baby in his/her mother’s womb now because my wife has to do all the household works till today as I could not arrange any maid servant for her help. I am afraid our second child may not get adequate food and treatment.
At present I draw Rs.31,988/-as net salary and have to pay around Rs.19,000/-as EMI against these loans. Every month I have to spend Rs.9,000/-from loan amount to run my family.
Dear readers, I confess that I cannot afford to spend for the two families anymore. Government pays Rs.2,450/-for house rent every month. But I have to pay Rs.5,500/-as there is no Government Housing and we stay in the rented house. Every year I have to pay Rs.36,600/-extra as house rent.
For the last few months I have been going through such a condition that I even cannot buy nutritious foods for our daughter Shinjini. I only can afford to purchase banana among various fruits for her.
Besides my mother has been suffering from arthritis for two years. Doctors has prescribed her to go to Bengaluru for better treatment. But I could not spend a single penny for her treatment.
In this situation I keenly pray to the dear readers to help me by paying whatever they can. If not, please purchase one copy of my book from the above mentioned links. If you help a distressed person like me, God will certainly help you.
